Application procedure

You should be a full-time student at your home university.  There should be an Erasmus Bilateral Agreement between your home university and Medical University-Varna. You should be nominated by your home university.

Make sure that your University has informed the Erasmus Office of Medical University-Varna about your Erasmus exchange in Varna before you have sent your Application documents.

Please complete the following forms in order to be an Erasmus Student at Medical University-Varna:

      •       Learning Agreement for Studies / Learning Agreement for Traineeships

You should prepare your • Learning Agreement for Studies, which describes the programme of your study in Medical University-Varna. It should be prepared according to our Curriculum and signed by your home university. Please be aware that some of the courses last 2 or 3 semesters. The students are allowed to sit the final examination after attending the entire course. 

If you apply for Erasmus traineeship, you should prepare a Learning Agreement for Traineeships. The minimum traineeship duration in each clinical department is 1 month.

• Transcript - Please obtain your recent transcript in English.

first semester and whole academic year: 30 MAY

second semester: 30 NOVEMBER

 

As soon as the proposed Learning agreement is approved and signed by our Departmental Coordinator, you will receive an official Letter of Acceptance.

Please inform us about your arrival date and visit the Erasmus Office after you have arrived to Varna.
