It is a pleasure and an honour for me to congratulate you on the 7th April - the World Health Worker Day.
Every person bears in his/her heart hope and faith in the people in white coats. Every patient is grateful to the doctors who have recovered his/her health. All of us, professionally committed to the care and preservation of this most sacred of human values, realise how many efforts, skills and great responsibility this requires.
In the difficult times we face today, it is the health workers thanks to whom we keep our hope and faith for tomorrow. Today, humbled by the global pandemic, people are well aware that it is exactly the healthcare professionals who make the modern heroes, fighting daily for human health and life, armed with knowledge and skills, with tension, efforts and sacrifice. Medics nowadays have mobilised their strengths without any fixed hours, rest or breaks because they have a calling! A calling that requires a big heart and lots of love!
Thank you for proving, through your actions as true professionals, the confidence in the medical profession and for establishing the credibility of the whole medical society. I wish everyone health, optimism and faith in order to be able to keep fighting for the maintenance of quality life for patients and for protection of our nation's health.
