Seminar and lecture by Prof. Dr. Marko Turina at MU-Varna, entitled "Future Development of Cardiac Surgery"

Prof. Dr. Marko Turina will deliver a lecture and hold a seminar at MU-Varna, intended for medical doctors and students. The lecture is entitled "Future Development of Cardiac Surgery".

 The seminar is targeted at surgeons, postgraduates and medical students who attend the extra classes in Cardiac Surgery. The seminar will include a series of discussions and practical exercises intended to train young scientists on how to submit abstracts and manuscripts to international journals and how to present research work at scientific meetings. The lecture and the seminar will be in English.

 Prof. Dr. Marko Turina is a Croatian cardiac surgeon, Director of the Clinic for Cardiovascular Diseases at the University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland. He is among the first doctors who have worked with congenital heart defects and the first doctor in the world, who has embedded an artificial heart outside the chest wall.
