The biggest scientific public health forum in Europe was held in Stockholm Sweden, on 1st - 4th November, attended by more than 1 500 delegates from 67 countries from Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Australia. Organizer is the European Public Health Association (EUPHA).
At this prestigious forum MU-Varna was presented by Assoc. Prof. Antonia Dimova from the Department of Economics and Management of Healthcare and Chief Assist. Prof. Virginia Atanasova from the Department of Social Medicine and Healthcare Organization.
The main focus of the Conference was the creation and maintenance of sustainable and healthy societies through the development of evidence-based public health policies through cross-sector and cross-border partnerships. Consideration was also given to the implementation of the World Health Organization concept: Health in All Public Policies.
During their stay in Stockholm Assoc. Prof. Dimova and Chief Assist. Prof. Atanasova visited the Karolinska University Hospital, called the "Hospital of the Future", in a study visit, organized by the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER).
