Representatives of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Medical University-Varna paid a working visit to the National University of Pharmacy (NPhaU) in Kharkov, Ukraine, where 16 000 Ukrainian and more than 1 500 international students from 41 countries are being trained. The visit took place from 6th to 10th May 2019 in the context of staff mobility for training purposes under Erasmus+ Programme.
Throughout the visit there were meetings with the management of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Foreign Nationals Education, with heads of departments and laboratories, with representatives of the International Department and the Quality Department; training and research laboratories were observed, etc. The representatives of MU-Varna explored the material and technical facilities in three of the ten units of the National University of Pharmacy: administrative, medical-biological and chemical-technological. They got acquainted with the software programmes of the Dean's Office at the Faculty of Foreign Nationals Education, and exchanged valuable experience and know-how.
During the final meeting of the representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU-Varna with Andriy Fedosov - first Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and other representatives of departments within the structure of NPhaU, the management of the National University of Pharmacy expressed willingness for continuation and strengthening the fruitful cooperation between the two institutions.
