Scientists from more than 200 universities from more than 30 countries participated at the Fifth Jubilee International Forum on Teacher Education (IFTE) at the Kazan (Volga region) Federal University (KFU) on the problems of pedagogical education «Development of Teachers' Professional Competence: Main Issues and Values».
The only medical university, which presented its views on pedagogical training of modern specialists and lecturers, was Medical University - Varna, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Marinela Grudeva, PhD. The expertise shared by Medical University - Varna was welcomed with exceptional interest. Assoc. Prof. Grudeva presented the results of a pilot study among first and second-year students in Nursing, Midwifery and Logopedia, on the negative impact of Internet on their psyche, which leads to deviations in their behaviour and personal development. The study is within the framework of a joint project, implemented by the Kazan Federal University and MU - Varna - "Оn the Prevention of Student Youth`s Victim Behaviour in the Global Internet".
The report delivered by Assoc. Prof. Grudeva put the stress on the reasons for provoking student youth`s victim behaviour in the global Internet Network. Guidelines for planning and implementing preventive actions, and conducting a control study on the problem in 2020 were also outlined.
Kazan Federal University is one of the oldest educational institutions in Russia. It was founded in 1804.
