Dr. Borislava Toncheva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral Surgery at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” – Varna. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2019, ranking first in her class. She has completed clinical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the First Moscow State Medical University and the North-Western State Medical University “I. I. Mechnikov” in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Since 2019, Dr. Toncheva has been working at the Clinic of Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital “St. Marina” – Varna. She was appointed as a part-time assistant in the Department of Oral Surgery the same year and became a full-time Assistant Professor in 2020. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree and has been a full-time PhD candidate since 2023.
Dr. Toncheva obtained her specialty in Oral Surgery in 2024. She regularly participates in national and international courses, seminars, and scientific events to further her expertise.
