Dr Dzhendo Dzhendov was born in the city of Dobrich, Bulgaria, on 11.03.1976. In 2000 he graduated Technical University of Varna, Faculty of Ecology. In 2005 he graduated Medical University of Plovdiv, Faculty of Dental Medicine. Since 2009 he is assist. professor at Prosthetic Dental Medicine in Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM) at Medical University of Varna. Since 2018 he is chief assistant professor in the Department "Dental Materials Science and Prosthetic Dental Medicine".
In 2017, he defended PhD thesis: „Fixed Partial Dentures of Co-Cr Alloys Produced by Additive Manufacturing"
In 2014, he completed a university course in dental implantology in Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM) at Medical University of Varna.
In 2012, he acquired a specialty in prosthetic dentistry.
Dr Dzhendov has more than 35 scientific papers published in Bulgarian, Russian and English in scientific journals and conferences' proceedings in Bulgaria, Russia, France, Macedonia, Poland and Italy. He has published one monography.
He leads exercises in prosthetic dentistry, dental materials science, pre-graduate internship in prosthetic dentistry and lectures on materials science at Medical College, Medical University-Varna
His scientific interest and activities are in the field of dental materials and materials for implants, application of 3D printing and selective laser melting in dental medicine.
In 2014-2018 he is member of the research team in the project № DFNI B02/19 (12.12.2014) "3D printing and its application in modern methods of treatment in prosthetic dentistry" supported by FSI, MSE of Republic of Bulgaria.
