Laboratory of Histomorphometry on Hard Sections and Materialography. In the laboratory, research is conducted on the samples after their embeding in a special hard polymer resin. This gives the opportunity for histological and histomorphometric examination of non-decalcified bone tissue, as well as implanted medical devices or tissues containing foreign bodies, the hardness of which is significantly different from that of the surrounding tissues. It also gives the opportunity for research on teeth and dental prosthetic structures, as well as on biomaterials.
Laboratory for biomaterials and implant customization. The laboratory conducts studies to create new ceramic biomaterials and optimize already known biomaterials, as well as the production of personalized implants from them.
