• Dr. Stoyan Katsarov graduated in 2001 from the Medical University - Plovdiv as a Master of Dental Medicine.
• In the period between 2002 - 2005 he was a full-time doctoral student and specialist in the Department of "Prosthetic Dental Medicine" at the Faculty of Dental Medicine Plovdiv, with scientific supervisor Prof. Hristo Kisov.
• In 2005 he obtained a specialty in Prosthetic Dentistry.
• 2007 he obtained the scientific degree "Doctor of Orthopedic Dentistry", after defending a dissertation on the topic: "Prosthetic preparation for treatment with all-composite and all-ceramic structures.
