Dr Ivaylo Parushev was born in the city of Provadia, Bulgaria, on 26.06.1984. In 2011 he graduated Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen, where he worked until 2019. Since November 2019 he is assistant professor at "Chemistry" in Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM) at Medical University of Varna. Since 2020 he is chief assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Medical Sciences .
In 2015, he defended PhD thesis: „Regioselective Synthesis and Competitive Electrophilic Cyclization Reactions of 1,3-bifunctionalized allenes"
Dr Parushev has more than 30 scientific papers published in Bulgarian and English in scientific journals and conferences' proceedings.
He has participated in more than 20 national and international congresses and conferences.
