Dr Ivaylo Parushev was born in the city of Provadia, Bulgaria, on 26.06.1984. In 2011 he graduated Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen, where he worked until 2019. Since November 2019 he is assistant professor at "Chemistry" in Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM) at Medical University of Varna. Since 2020 he is chief assistant professor.
In 2015, he defended PhD thesis: „Regioselective Synthesis and Competitive Electrophilic Cyclization Reactions of 1,3-bifunctionalized allenes".
