Dr. Petya Angelova Stoyanova obtained her professional qualification as a Master of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Varna in 2025.
Since 2019, Dr. Stoyanova has been a member of the Student Council of the Medical University of Varna, as well as a member of the Association of Dental Medicine Students, Varna.
In December 2022, she became Vice President of the Association of Dental Medicine Students, Varna, and in April 2023, she was appointed Assistant President of the Student Council of the Medical University of Varna.
In October 2023, Dr. Stoyanova was elected President of the Student Council for the 2023–2025 term. During her mandate, she also served as a member of the Academic Council of the Medical University of Varna, representing the students and PhD candidates.
On 6 December 2023, she was awarded the “Named Award of the Municipality of Varna” for outstanding students in the field of Dental Medicine.
Since June 2024, Dr. Stoyanova has been a member of the Sailing Team of the Medical University of Varna.
As of October 2025, she has been working as a Full-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology and Dental Implantology, Faculty of Dental Medicine.
