Dr. Yoana Ruseva was born in Varna. She completed her secondary education in 2016 at the IV Language High School "Frédéric Joliot-Curie" - Varna with a profile: Spanish, English and Biology.
In 2022, she completed her higher education at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University - Varna, acquiring the educational and qualification degree "Master of Dental Medicine".
She started working as a full-time assistant in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry in the same year. In 2023, she began specializing in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. After winning a competition in 2025, she was enrolled as a full-time doctorate (PhD) student.
Leads classes in the academic disciplines: "Propaedeutics of pediatric dentistry", "Clinic of pediatric dentistry" and "Dental prophylaxis", Bulgarian- and English-language exercises for students from the second to the fifth year.
She has attended a number of courses, seminars and lecture modules in the country and abroad.
