Dr. Stoyanova was born on 01.02.1993 in Varna, Bulgaria. She graduated from First language school in Varna with excellent results with a profile of studying English and German. In 2018, she graduated from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" with honors. From October 2018 to April 2022, she was a resident in gastroenterology at the Internal Medicine Department and Department of Gastroenterology at the University Hospital "St. Marina", Varna. In October 2019, she became an assistant lecturer at the Department of Clinical Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dental Medicine. Since April 2022, she works in the Gastroenterology Clinic of the University Hospital "St. Marina", and in December 2022, she acquired a specialty in gastroenterology.
From January 2020 until January 2024 she was a doctoral student at the Second Department of Internal Medicine with the topic "Antiviral Therapy in Chronic Hepatitis B - Dynamics of Viral Markers and Long-Term Outcomes" with scientific supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irina Ivanova, MD. In May 2024 she acquired a PhD in Gastroenterology.
Her main interests are in the field of chronic viral hepatitis and inflammatory bowel disease. She has participated in a number of medical conferences in the field of Gastroenterology.
