In 2007, Tsvetelina Mihova graduated from the Technical University of Varna with a degree in Computer Systems and Technologies.
In 2009, she completed her education at the National High School of Polygraphy and Photography “M.V. Lomonosov" in Sofia, specializing as an Optical Technician.
In 2019, she obtained a Master's degree in Optometry from the Medical University of Varna.
She has seventeen years of professional experience in the optical industry.
Since 2014, she has been a lecturer in the Medical Optician program at the Medical College – Varna, actively involved in both teaching and research activities.
In March 2019, she won the national finals for a student project in the field of contact vision correction. In May of the same year, she received the Special Jury Award at the world finals held in Budapest, Hungary.
She has participated in Bulgarian scientific forums and has published in Bulgarian peer-reviewed journals.
She is also a co-author of two textbooks developed for the needs of the program.
Her main interests lie in the field of presbyopia correction with contact lenses, particularly with multifocal contact lenses.
Since 2017, she has been annually entrusted with course leadership responsibilities.
She is fluent in English and German.
