Prof. Emiliya Georgieva has held the position of Associate Director of the Medical College at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna since September 2021.
She began her academic career in 2012, progressively serving as lecturer, administrative assistant of the Medical Laboratory Technician program, and Associate Professor at the Medical College – Varna.
She graduated from the Medical College – Varna in 1998, specializing as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
In 2008, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management from the Medical University – Varna.
In 2010, she completed a Master's degree in Marketing at Shumen University “Episkop Konstantin Preslavski."
Since 2013, she holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Management from the Medical University – Varna.
In 2021, she specialized in Public Health at the Medical University – Varna.
In 2016, she obtained a PhD in Healthcare Management from the Medical University – Varna.
She was appointed as Associate Professor in 2018 and promoted to Full Professor in 2024.
Her main professional and research interests lie in healthcare management, public health, innovation, and health technologies.
