Assist. Prof. Dimitar Lyubomirov Vasilev, MD was born in 1997 in Varna, Bulgaria. He graduated with honors from the First Language School – Varna in 2016, specializing in foreign languages. In 2022, he completed his medical degree with honors at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
In March 2023, following a competitive selection process, he was appointed as a full-time Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna. He is also a neurology resident at the First Neurology Clinic at St. Marina University Hospital – Varna.
