She graduated the Medical University of Varna in 1993. In 1994, completed the Management and Business Department of the Varna University of Economics. In 2000, graduated the Health Management Department of the University of Economics, Varna. In 2000, specialized in dermatology and venereology. From 2009 to 2020, worked in the field of aesthetic dermatology. At this period, she was the medical manager of the Medea Medical and Cosmetic Center, Varna. Annually participates in IMCAS (Monaco) and EMMA (Paris), has numerous certified courses in the application of botulinum toxin, fillers, mesotherapy, lasers in dermatology, cosmetic allergology. From 1993 to 2011, was a resident at the Skin Clinic, St. Anna Hospital AD, Varna. From 2011 – dermatologist at the St. Anna Medical Center, Varna. Since 2012, has been an assistant at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Medical University of Varna. In 2016, after successfully defending a scientific thesis on the topic "Influence of the autonomic nervous system, skin barrier indicators and psycho-emotional aspects in patients with lichen simplex chronicus", she acquired the educational and scientific degree "Doctor". From 2019 to 2021 was a chief assistant at the department, and from 2021 she holds the academic position of "Associate Professor" in Dermatology and Venereology. Since 2022 has been the head of the Department of Skin and Venereological Diseases at the University Hospital "St. Marina"
Teaching activities: practical exercises in dermatology for medical students, practical exercises in dermatology for dental students, practical exercises and lecture course for medical students from AEO, seminar classes module "Dermatology" for general medicine specialists.
Clinical activities: diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient activities.
Scientific interests are in the field of atopic dermatitis, psychodermatology, and pruritus. Author and co-author of 2 monographs, 2 textbooks on Dermatovenereology in Bulgarian and English, 51 publications in Bulgarian and foreign periodicals, poster presentations and reports at international and national forums. Guest lecturer at national forums.
