Born in 1986 in Varna, Dr. Georgi Alexandrov Gerganov graduated from the First Language High School in Varna and later earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Sofia in 2011. He obtained a specialty in Rheumatology in 2019.
From 2012 to 2014, he worked as a resident physician in the Emergency Department at St. Marina University Hospital. He is currently working at the Rheumatology Clinic of the same hospital.
Since 2019, he has been a teaching assistant at the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine.
His scientific interests focus on inflammatory joint diseases. In 2020, he began work on his doctoral dissertation titled: "Cardiovascular Risk in Patients Undergoing Anti-Cytokine Therapy."
