Dr. Iva Ivanova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2007, she graduated with honors from Aleko Konstantinov Language High School in the town of Pravets. Between 2007 and 2013, she studied Medicine at the Medical University of Varna, where she also earned her degree with distinction. In 2014, she began her residency in the Department of Endocrinology at St. Marina University Hospital. In December 2018, she successfully completed her board certification in Endocrinology at Alexandrovska University Hospital.
Dr. Ivanova is certified in cervical ultrasonography. She is actively involved in teaching: since 2015, she has served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine, and since 2017, in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, where she also holds the position of administrative assistant.
