Dr.
Ivelin Krastev was born in Varna in 1994. In 2013, he graduated from First
Language School – Varna. In 2019, he graduated from Medical University
Varna. Dr. Krastev was appointed as an assistant professor in the
Department of Medical Genetics in February 2022. Commenced his residency in
Clinical immunology in March 2022. In January 2025 began his work as a Ph.D.
student on the topic “Immune response to neoplastic diseases". His thesis
is overseen by his mentor – Assoc. Prof. Trifon Chervenkov, MD, Ph.D.
Scientific interests in the field of tumor immunology and transplantology.
