Born on December 4, 1993, in Varna, Bulgaria. Graduate of the Fourth Language High School “Frédéric Joliot-Curie" in Varna, with French as a primary language and English as a secondary language. In 2018, she obtained a master's degree in medicine from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. P. Stoyanov" – Varna. Since November 2018, she has been employed at “Mladost" Medical Center – Varna as a resident physician. Since December 2018, she has been specializing in Dermatology and Venereology at the Medical University of Varna, based at the University Hospital "St. Marina" – Varna. Since 2019, she has been a part-time assistant in Dermatology and Venereology at the Medical University of Varna, conducting practical training for Bulgarian and English-speaking students in medicine and dental medicine. As of November 2022, she has been appointed as a full-time assistant in Dermatology and Venereology at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Parasitology, and Dermatovenereology at the Medical University of Varna. In May 2023, after successfully passing the board examination, she became a certified specialist in Dermatology and Venereology. Since December 2023, she has been a PhD student at the same department, working on a dissertation titled: “Clinical Aspects of Drug-Induced Dermatoses."
She has additional qualifications and specialized training in the field of aesthetic dermatology – practical and theoretical courses in the removal of benign skin lesions, pigmented lesions, telangiectasias, hemangiomas, and scar treatment using laser systems; fractional laser resurfacing, hyaluronic acid fillers, mesotherapy, chemical peels, botulinum toxin injections, and more.
Dr Hristova's scientific interests focus on skin tumors, erythematosquamous dermatoses, allergic dermatoses, bacterial skin infections, and bullous dermatoses. She regularly participates in national dermatology and venereology congresses.
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association (BMA) and the Bulgarian Dermatological Society (BDS).
