D-r Stefan Nikolaev Yambolov was born on 17.04.1997 in Varna.
He graduated from high school with an emphasis in English and Russian languages in 2016 with excellence.
In 2018, he acquired a C2 certificate in English language after sitting the Cambridge English C2 Proficiency exam. He also communicates freely in Russian.
D-r Yambolov graduated from the Varna Medical University “Prof. Paraskev Stoyanov" with excellence in 2022.
During his studies, he tutored Bulgarian and English-speaking students in the department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.
In 02.2023, through a contest, he became part of the team of Second Cardiology Clinic – Interventional in UMHAT “St. Marina" as a resident in cardiology and assistant professor. In 06.2024, he started a PhD in cardiology on the topic of: “The place of infrared thermography in proving or refuting epicardial coronary artery disease".
His primary interests are in the field of interventional cardiology, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic coronary syndrome, and structural heart interventions.
