Born on August 2, 1964, in Sofia, Bulgaria. He graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Varna in 1988. Between 1988 and 1990, he underwent specialization at the Military Medical Academy (MMA) in Sofia. He specialized in Dermatology and Venereology at the Medical University of Varna and obtained his specialty in 1994. Since 1995, he has been a lecturer and assistant professor at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Medical University of Varna.
He has additional qualifications in dermatomycology, cryotherapy, and dermatoscopy. His academic and teaching activities include practical exercises in dermatovenereology for medical students, practical sessions for dental medicine students, seminar sessions in the “Dermatology" module for general medicine trainees, and training of dermatovenereology residents.
Clinical practice: therapeutic and diagnostic work in the dermatology ward, outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, and consulting in dermatovenereology.
His scientific interests include the diagnosis of skin tumors, autoimmune and bullous dermatoses, skin manifestations of internal diseases, and case-based studies.
Author and co-author of over 40 publications in national and international journals, and 25 scientific presentations at national and international conferences.
