Born in Varna, graduated the Medical University - Varna in 2004, with an acquired specialist in orthopedics and traumatology since 2010. . In 2006, after a competition, he took the position of assistant at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Medical University - Varna. Since 2019, he has been a chief assistant, and in 2023 he was habilitated as an associate professor. Since 12.2023, he has held the position of head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Assoc. Prof. Dobrilov has conducted numerous courses and specializations in leading clinics in Europe, Great Britain, Israel, etc. in the field of shoulder, knee and hip surgery. He holds a number of certificates in arthroscopy of joints, primary and revision arthroplasty of large joints and traumatology. Assoc. Prof. Dobrilov actively works in areas such as shoulder arthroplasty and treatment of instability, joint replacement, surgical treatment of joint and soft tissue infections, participates in a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of patients with hemophilia. He is a member of BOTA (Bulgarian Orthopaedic and Traumatology Association), ESSKA (European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy), EFORT.
