Dr. Blagovesta Spasova was born in 1992 in Razgrad, Bulgaria. In 2011, she graduated from the High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences "Acad. N. Obreshkov" in her hometown. She earned her Master's degree in Medicine in 2017 from the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" in Varna.
Following graduation, Dr. Spasova began her academic career in September 2017 at the Department of Neurosurgery and Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at the Medical University of Varna. In September 2018, she became a resident physician at the ENT Department of “St. Anna – Varna", where she formally began her residency in otorhinolaryngology in March 2019.
Since June 2024, she is assistant professor at the Department of Neurosurgery and ENT at the Medical University of Varna. Concurrently, she began practicing at the ENT Clinic of UMHAT “St. Marina" Varna.
Also in June 2024, Dr. Spasova successfully defended her doctoral dissertation: “Application of Videofluoroscopy for Evaluation of the Neohypopharynx in Patients Following Laryngectomy", under the supervision of Prof. Dr. N. Sapundzhiev, earning her PhD in Otorhinolaryngology.
