Upon graduation, he has in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of cardiology and invasive diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Since November 2007. - Until now, he worked as a cardiologist in the Second Cardiology Clinic of General and Invasive Cardiology at St. Marina Hospital in Varna From February 2008 to October 2008. specializes in cardiology at Hadassah Hospital, Jerusalem, Israel In 12.2014. He acquired a specialty in cardiology In 08.2015. He acquired a subspecialty in invasive cardiology. Since 2017 – Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, specialty – Cardiology Since July 2018 - PhD student at the Department of Internal Medicine, specialty - cardiology with the topic of the scientific work: "Concomitant carotid pathology in cardiac invasive diagnostics" Courses conducted in: - Doppler sonography - Echocardiography - fundamental and expert level, transthoracic, transesophageal, stressechocardiography. So far, Dr. Zhelev has visited numerous scientific forums and congresses in the country and abroad. Participation with a report at an international forum.
