Chief Assistant Dr. Tsvetomir Evgeniev Kachovski was born on January 5, 1989, in the city of Vratsa.
Education and Qualifications:
Chief Assistant Dr. Tsvetomir Evgeniev Kachovski completed his medical education at the Medical University of Pleven in 2014. In 2015, he began his specialization in SBAGAL "Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov" EOOD, affiliated with the Medical University of Varna, and in 2020, he graduated with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Since 2016, he has been a visiting assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of Varna, and in 2018 he won a competition for the academic position of "assistant". From 2018 to 2021, he was a regular doctoral student. In 2023, he obtained the educational and scientific degree of DOCTOR in the doctoral program "Obstetrics and Gynecology" with a defended multidisciplinary dissertation: "Correlation between ultrasound diagnostics and immunohistochemistry in early and late spontaneous abortions."
Professional Experience:
He began his career as a physician at the Emergency Medical Care Center – Varna, Dolni Chiflik branch, in 2014. In 2015, he enrolled in a specialization in SBAGAL "Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov," affiliated with the Medical University of Varna. Since 2020, Dr. Tsvetomir Kachovski has been working as a specialist physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the gynecology department of the Specialized Hospital "Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov" and as a regular assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of Varna. In 2024, he assumed the position of "Chief Assistant" at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology – Medical University of Varna.
Training and Courses:
He conducts research activities on projects funded by the "Science" fund as a chief researcher and investigator. He has participated as a lecturer in the international project "Creating a Multidisciplinary Educational Environment for Developing Personnel with Integral Competences in the Field of Biomedicine and Healthcare," funded by the Operational Program "Science and Education for Intelligent Growth," co-financed by the European Union. He has undergone training courses in the fields of prenatal ultrasound diagnostics, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and operative obstetrics both in the country and abroad. He is the author and co-author of scientific publications in refereed journals and has participated in over 30 congresses and seminars.
