Dr. Velikova was born in Burgas. She graduated from medicine in 1996 at the Medical University of Varna. She obtained a specialty in “Obstetrics and Gynecology" in 2001. She has completed additional qualification courses in colposcopy, ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology, for which she has the necessary certificates. She participates in a number of national and international congresses and symposia. Her clinical and scientific interests are in the field of pregnancy monitoring in prehospital care. Since 2017, she has been the Manager of the Medical Center for Pre-hospital Care “Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov"-Varna, and after winning a competition in 2021, she was appointed as a full-time assistant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
