Dr. Dariya Kumanova is an Oral surgeon, Doctor of Dental Medicine, and Assistant Prof. in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the Medical University of Varna.
She graduated as an honor student from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Varna in 2020. In 2017, she completed a clinical internship in Otorhinolaryngology at the ENT Department of University Hospital “St. Marina” – Varna, as part of the “Student Internships” program.
In 2021, she obtained additional qualification in computer programming (“Software Engineering”, Python). Between 2022 and 2025, she completed her specialization in Oral Surgery at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital “St. Marina” - Varna.
Her professional interests are focused on oral surgery, clinical anatomy, and the application of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, in medicine.
As part of her academic work, she is involved in teaching students in the specialties of Medicine and Dental Medicine, combining her clinical experience with fundamental anatomical knowledge.
