Dr. Diyana Ivanova Nikolova was born on December 22, 1982, in Ruse. She graduated from the Mathematics High School "Baba Tonka" in Ruse with a focus on biology and chemistry. In 2007, she completed her medical degree at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" in Varna.
Between 2012 and 2017, she worked as a physician in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hematology at Kanev University Hospital in Ruse. From April 2017 to January 2018, she worked in the Department of Gastroenterology at Varna General Hospital. Since June 10, 2019, she has been working as a physician at the Clinic of Internal Medicine at St. Marina University Hospital in Varna.
She holds a specialty in Gastroenterology. On September 15, 2019, she was appointed as a part-time assistant at the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Diseases, and on March 13, 2020, she became a full-time assistant in the same department.
She is currently working on a doctoral dissertation titled: "Cardiovascular Risk in Patients with Liver Cirrhosis."
