Born in Varna in 1970. Graduated from the Medical University of Varna in 1996. From 1998-2002, he specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of Varna. He obtained a specialty in obstetrics and gynecology in 2003. He works as a gynecologist at the General Hospital in Veliki Preslav. He works as an obstetrics and gynecology doctor at the General Hospital "Maichin Dom" from 2003 to 2019. Since 2019, Dr. Georgiev has held the position of obstetrics and gynecology doctor in the Delivery ward of "Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov"Hospital, and since 2020 he has been the Head of the Delivery ward in the same hospital. After winning a competition in 2019, he was elected as a full-time assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of Varna. Dr. Georgiev's scientific and practical interests are in the field of minimally invasive surgery in gynecological practice, operative obstetrics and ultrasound diagnostics in obstetric practice. He is developing a dissertation on the topic: "Comparative analysis of techniques for opening the anterior abdominal wall in Caesarean section: Misgav Ladach and Pfannensiel"
