Born in Shumen in 1972. Graduated from Varna Medical University in 1996. She obtained a specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2002. 2002-2003 worked at the General Hospital in Veliki Preslav as the Head of the OB/GYN Department. 2003-2019 worked as an OB/GYN physician at the "Maichin Dom" General Hospital in Varna. Since 2019, Dr. Georgieva has held the position of OB/GYN physician in the Gynecology Department of the "Prof. Dr. D. Stamatov" General Hospital, and since 2020, she has been the Head of the "Pathological Pregnancy" Department in the same hospital. After winning a competition in 2019, she was elected as a full-time assistant in the OB/GYN Department at the Varna Medical University. Dr. Georgieva is developing a dissertation on the topic "Application of a cervical pessary to reduce the incidence of spontaneous abortions of the ismico-cervical type and premature births". Dr. Georgieva's scientific and practical interests are in the field of minimally invasive gynecology, pathological pregnancy and ultrasound diagnostics in obstetric practice.
