Born on 18.09.1985 in Varna. Graduated high school education in 2004 at First Language School - Varna. In 2010 he graduated with honors from higher education at MU - Varna. In 2011 he was appointed as a doctor - resident in the Second Clinic of Surgery of the University Hospital "St.Marina" - Varna. In 2013 he was selected after a competition as an assistant in the Department of Surgical Diseases, educational board of Abdominal Surgery of MU - Varna. He acquired a specialty in Surgery in 2017. In the same year he defended his dissertation thesis on topic "Diagnosis and treatment of acute cholecystitis in patients in advanced and elderly age". In 2019 he was selected after a competition for the possition of Senior Assistant Professor in the same Department. Since 2020 until 2024, he has been the Chief Administrative Assistant of the Department.
Dr. Chaushev is a member of the Bulgarian Surgical Society, the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. The main scientific interests of Dr. Chaushev are in the field of biliary - hepatic surgery, herniology, colonic and laparoscopic surgery. He has over 40 scientific publications in Bulgarian and foreign journals, as well as regular participation in national and international surgical forums.
