Dr. Elina Tsvetelinova Peteva was born on 09.05.1981 in the city of Ruse. Graduated from the English Language School "Geo Milev" - Ruse. Graduated at the Medical University of Varna in 2006. In 2012, she acquired a specialty in "Pediatrics", in 2018, she acquired a narrow specialty in Pediatric Clinical Hematology and Oncology. Since 2012, she has been a part-time assistant in the Department of Pediatrics, and since 2019, a full-time assistant in the department. She teaches pediatric diseases to Bulgarian and foreign students of medicine and dentistry.
In 2017, she completed training for HSCT at the Dmitri Rogachev National Medical Research Center of Pediatric hematology, oncology and immunology, Moscow. She has multiple specializations abroad in the field of congenital coagulation disorders.
Dr. Elina Peteva's scientific and professional interests are in the field of childhood HSCT, leukemias and lymphomas and rare blood diseases - congenital coagulation disorders and rare anemias.
