Dr. Papanchev was born in 1996 in the city of Varna. In 2015, he graduated from the Foreign Language High School "Yoan Ekzarh" in Varna. He completed his medical education at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" in 2021. Until October 2022, he worked as a physician in the Emergency Department and as a resident specializing in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the First Internal Medicine Department of Dobrich General Hospital. Until April 2023, he continued working in the Emergency Department at University Hospital "St. Marina" in Varna. Since September 2023, he has been a part-time lecturer in Pathophysiology, and in 2024, after successfully passing a competition, he was appointed as a full-time assistant in the ES of Pathophysiology at the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology.
He teaches seminars in pathophysiology for the following specialties: medicine, dental medicine (in both Bulgarian and English programs), and pharmacy.
Main research interests: metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, renal dysfunction.
