Dr. Ivaylo Minev was born in 1993 in the city of Ruse. He graduated from the "Hristo Botev" High School - Ruse with a biology and chemistry profile, with intensive study of English in 2012. He graduated from the Medical University - Varna in 2018. In 2019, he was enrolled for specialization in the Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University Hospital "St. Marina", where he works to this day. He was elected honorary assistant at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in the period 2022-2023. He was enrolled as a regular doctoral at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2023. He was appointed as an assistant at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Medical University of Varna since 2024. Dr. Minev acquired a specialty in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2024. He is a member of BOTA. Dr. Minev's professional interests are mainly in the field of knee and shoulder arthroscopy, sports traumatology, and large joint replacement.
