The Department of Cardiology and Rheumatology was formed in 2026. It continues the activities of the Department of Internal Medicine - the largest department at the Medica l University - Varna, with a rich history, academic traditions and outstanding contribution to the development of all areas of internal medicine, dating back to the establishment of the Medical University in Varna. In order to cover overall the internal pathology, to achieve better teaching and improvement of the opportunities for specialization, 2 educational and scientific sectors are distinguished:

ES Rheumatology
