Born on July 5, 1991, in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2010, he graduated from the National High School of Humanities and Arts "Konstantin Preslavski" in Varna. In 2013, he completed his studies at the Medical College in Varna, specializing as a Medical Laboratory Technician, and in 2020 he graduated with a degree in Medicine from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
In 2023, he was appointed as a resident physician at the Second Clinic of Infectious Diseases at University Hospital “St. Marina". In the same year, after successfully passing a competitive exam, he began working as an assistant professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases, Parasitology and Dermatovenereology at the Medical University – Varna.
Dr. Karaivanov conducts practical training in infectious diseases for students in medicine and dental medicine in both English and Bulgarian language programs.
