Ch. Assist. Professor Kristian Nikolaev Georgiev, MD, PhD was born in 1990 in Varna, Bulgaria. He graduated with a medical degree from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna in 2015.
In 2019, he was appointed Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences, Medical University – Varna, and since 2023 he holds the position of Chief Assistant Professor.
He completed his specialization in Neurology in 2020.
In 2022, Ch. Assist. Professor Kristian Georgiev successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled:
"Acute Cerebrovascular Events in Oncological Patients – Clinical Aspects and Correlational Dependencies", earning the degree of Doctor of Medicine (PhD).
