Ch. Assist. Prof. Margarita Venelinova Grudkova, MD. PhD was born on August 13, 1986, in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. She completed her secondary education in 2005 at the High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences "Vasil Drumev" in Veliko Tarnovo.
In 2012, she graduated with a medical degree from the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" – Varna.
In January 2015, Margarita Venelinova Grudkova began her clinical career as a neurology resident at the First Clinic of Nervous Diseases at St. Marina University Hospital – Varna.
In 2020, she was admitted as a PhD student at the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences, Medical University – Varna. That same year, she obtained her specialty in Neurology.
Following a competitive selection in 2021, she was appointed Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurology and Neurosciences, Medical University – Varna.

Neurodegenerative diseases, with a focus on their pathogenesis, diagnostics, and emerging therapeutic strategies.
