Dr. Melis Ahmedova was born on 24.03.1997 in Targovishte, Bulgaria. In 2016, she completed her secondary education at First Secondary School, Targovishte with specialized training in biology and chemistry. She graduated with honors in Medicine from Medical University of Varna in 2022. From November 2022 to August 2023, she worked ate the "Multi-profile Emergency Department" at the "St. Anna" Hospital - Varna. Since October 2023, she has been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at MU-Varna. In 2025, she enrolled for specialization in “Pharmacology" and as a full-time doctoral student in “Pharmacology (incl. Pharmacokinetics and Chemotherapy)". Dr. Ahmedova participates in the teaching of the course "Pharmacology" to medical and dental students (in both Bulgarian and English).
