Assoc. prof. Eleonora Georgieva Dimitrova-Gospodinova, MD, PhD, was born in Varna in 1972. She graduated from the Medical University Varna in 1996. She started working as a medical doctor in the Clinic of Pneumology and Phthisiatry, MHAT "St. Marina", Varna, Bulgaria in January 1997. In the same year, she also started her residency in Internal Medicine. She became a specialist in Internal Medicine in 2001, and in Pneumology and Phthisiatry in 2004. In 2007, she became a specialist in Medical oncology. Since 2008, she has worked as an oncologist in the Clinic of Medical Oncology, UMHAT "St. Marina", Varna. Since 2014, she has been an assistant professor in the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases.
She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Oncology, the Bulgarian Society of Pulmonary Diseases, the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), member of the Oncology commission in UMHAT "St. Marina", Varna, member of the Oncology commission on chemotherapy, and member of the Ethical committee of Medical University Varna.
