Dr.Petya Petrova was born on September 18, 1975 in Varna. In 2003 she graduated from Medical University of Varna. Since 2016, she has been working in laboratory of clinical immunology at the University Hospital "St. Marina" Varna as an immunologist. In 2009-2018 she conducted several, consistent courses of training in Flow cytometry at the NCIPD and the University Hospital "Alexandrovska" Sofia, specialization for determining tissue compatibility at the University Hospital "Alexandrovska" Sofia (2010), the course "Stem cell transplantation" in Varna (2016). In 2017, she participated in the first working meeting for the standardization of ANA Fluorescent images at St. Ivan Rilski University Hospital Sofia. From 14.02.2022, she works as an assistant in clinical immunology, at the Department of Medical Genetics.
Scientific interests in the field of autoimmune diseases and nutrition, tissue compatibility (HLA system).
