Dr. Sofiуa Chausheva was born in 1985 in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2010, she was awarded a full scholarship to the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, where she studied until 2013. She continued her education in Bulgaria and graduated with honours from the Medical University of Varna „Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov“ in 2017.
From 2018 to March 2020, she was a resident at the Clinic of Diagnostic Imaging. During 2018 and 2019, she also served as a part-time assistant at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, and Radiation Therapy. Between 2020 and 2024, she was enrolled as a resident at the Clinic of Nuclear Medicine at St. Marina University Hospital in Varna and held a full-time assistant position at the Department of Nuclear Medicine, Metabolic Therapy, and Radiation Therapy at the Medical University of Varna. In 2024, she obtained her specialty in Nuclear Medicine.
In addition to her medical education, Dr. Chausheva has a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations. She was intern at various Bulgarian and international companies in the fields of corporate finance, international marketing, and strategic management.
She speaks in English, Romanian, French, Russian, and German
Dr. Chausheva actively participates in scientific forums, including national and international conferences and congresses. She is a member of several professional organizations:
