Svetoslav Stoyanov graduated from secondary education at the “St. Kliment Ohridski" Medical University, majoring in mathematics, with excellent grades.
In the period 2016-2022 he studied at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna, and during his student years he actively participated in student organizations - Student Council as assistant chairman and chairman of the Association of Medical Students in Bulgaria - Varna. In the period 2021-2022 he was a demonstrator at the “Thoracic Surgery" Board, Department of Surgical Diseases.
Since 2023 he has been working as a resident physician at the Clinic of Thoracic Surgery, University Hospital “St. Marina" - Varna, and since 2024 he has been appointed as an assistant physician. He is currently a full-time doctoral student at the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna.
In 2024 he graduated “Health care management“ at Medical Univeristy of Varna.
His professional interests are in oncosurgery of the breast, thyroid gland, thoracoscopic surgery of the lung, mediastinum and pleura.
He has over 20 scientific publications as an author and co-author.
He is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, Union of Scientists.
