Assis. Prof. Valentin Velchev was born in Razgrad, Bulgaria. He graduated the "Rehabilitator" speciality at the Medical College, Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna. He graduated as a specialist in “Kinesitherapy" - Bachelor's Degree and then in 2021 he acquired a Master's Degree in “Kinesitherapy" at “Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse. From 2017, he has been a rehabilitator at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of St. Marina UMBAL - Varna, and since 2021 has been reassigned as a kinesitherapist at the same clinic. From 2020, he has been an assistant at the "Kinesitherapy" Department, Department of Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Sea Therapy and Occupational Diseases, Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna, and since 2021 has been an assistant at the Department of Kinesitherapy, Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov" - Varna.
He has participated in national and international forums and scientific publications in the field of kinesitherapy and orthopedics and traumatology.
He is a member of the Administrative Council of the Bulgarian Association of Physiotherapists.
