Born on 06.04.1979 in Shumen. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Bulgarian Philology from Sofia University in 2002 and a Master's in 2003. Received her PhD in 2018 in Bulgarian Language from Sofia University.
Since September 2005, she has been a lecturer, and since 2010 a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Language Teaching, Communication and Sports at MU – Varna. Since 2017/2018, she has been the coordinator of specialized Bulgarian language teaching in the English-language medical program.
Co-author of three textbooks in specialized Bulgarian and one in general Bulgarian (I Study in Bulgaria, level B1). Author of exam tests for general and specialized Bulgarian for second- and third-year international students. Certified examiner and test developer for the ECL system.
Her research interests include clinical terminology and communication, teaching Bulgarian for specific purposes, and e-learning in academic settings.
Has 9 publications and has participated in over
20 national and international conferences.
