She was born on 22.05.1970 in the city of Varna. Long-time national competitor and master of sports in track and field athletics, multiple state champion for girls in sprint disciplines, holder of a national record in 200 m indoors, participant in the European Championship in 1987 and the World Championship in 1988. Graduated from the National Athletics Academy "V. Levski" - Sofia in 1994. Acquired specialties: track and field coach and physical education teacher. Since 2003, she has been a lecturer at the Medical University - Varna, since 2007, she has been the head of the Educational Sector in Physical Education and Sports. She completed a master's degree in "Public Health" in 2018. She defended her dissertation on the topic "Influence of Bulgarian folk dances on the health of students from the Medical University - Varna" and acquired the educational scientific degree "doctor" in 2019. She holds the academic position of associate professor since 2021, and in the same year the Educational Sector was transformed into a Department.
She has over 30 publications in Bulgarian and international scientific journals, as well as numerous participations in scientific conferences, with the main scientific developments being in the field of student sports, sports for health and the preservation and popularization of Bulgarian folklore and dance art.
