Title: “Increasing the communicative competence of students of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health management and health care by optimizing and creating new curricula in health care communication and specialized foreign languages, meeting the modern needs of hospitals and other medical institutions and the requirements of the modern information environment". Revision, optimisation and creation of new curricula for the training of students in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health care and health management in health communication and specialised foreign language, which objectively reflect the needs and requirements of the future employers of these professionals, i.e. the different types of health care institutions.

Project № BG051PO001-3.1.09-0013 “Establishment of a modern system for career development of lecturers at the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov“ - Varna".
A survey among the lecturers of MU - Varna was carried out to identify their needs for specialized training. On the basis of the results obtained, a working group of 9 members of the academic staff of MU-Varna and 5 external expert consultants prepared a “Programme for qualification and development of professional competences of MU-Varna lecturers", in accordance with the principles of the National Strategy for Lifelong Learning (2008-2013). The implementation of the same envisages the implementation of qualification courses in the methodology of academic teaching, methodology of scientific research, management of university structures, intensive specialized foreign language training, two specialized courses on additional identified needs of teachers.
